This Week In Review

We were hardly seated before the "Emperor" was confused about the Bulletin.  While last week was in deed his week as reporter, (and not Tim Pollak's) we appreciate Tim's commitment to his job.  The former King was bewildered about the double dose of information.  Ballew was fined $.50 for lack of secretarial duties in making sure there was no duplication of efforts, but didn't have to pay.  Bob Hogge then went after Hunter, but also failed.  Miley chimed in with a request to have a vote as to which newsletter was the best.  The website won hands down.  E Team Bingo this week, 99 folks and $5,600.  More fines- Harder $.25 to McKim for not knowing United Bank is out of business.  Carlson $.25 to table 1 for a guest (included Benton a former Table 1er.)  Ballew, $.25 to Hunter for newsletter confusion.  $.25 Harder to Hunter for poor training of Grimm.

INDUCTION -  Dean Poindexter, via Pat McKim.  $.25 to Grimm from McKim for terrible induction and $.25 to Dean from Harder to welcome him.  Dean comes with a wife, two kiddos (one really new), and his own American Family Insurance Agency.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY-  Dick Enslow and Rich Carlson, January 23.

Sertoman of the Day
Joe Dowdey hails from Hawarden, Iowa, one of three Hawarden's in the universe.  Has a new grandbaby, Emily, who accompanies her older brother, Nathan.  Joe and wife Carol met in college at Sioux Falls, SD.  They have two kiddo's, Jim and Jessica, one who still hangs around the house.  Married for 29 years, they have been in Colorado for over 20 years and think of it as home, although he has fond memories of childhood days in Hawarden, at his dad's furniture store.  He brought a Centennial book of Hawarden and presented us with a few stories about the "olden days".  Joe collects Sioux stuff; Big Sioux River, Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Sioux county (largest feeder of corn fed beef anywhere), and no doubt more.  Joe is with Edward Jones and sells money stuff.  Brought into the club by John Pifer.  Rick Jacobus got the $5.00 and a real stock certificate from the New York Central Rail Road, worth millions.
Program
