scrapbook). She said she did not care for lunch. Rick,
non the less, was fined for simply not attending to his
guest's needs. The fine amount continued to increase,
but finally ended when Rick promised to take her out to a
nice dinner and entertainment. (The snack bar at the
Bingo hall doesn't count, Rick). There were no other
guests, but Dave Miley was back following his recent
surgical episode, looking quite well although a bit shinier
on top. Welcome back Dave. Report is that Mr.
Parchen, in recovery, will be back soon also. Mr.
McKim reported the D team, one of the premier bingo teams in
the club, had a so-so evening, with only 85 players and 8
members participating. Two Handshake prizes were
awarded by Ex-King Hunter- one to Mike Ballew, one to Mike
Magee. Mr. Worth lectured the club on the original
intent of the handshake prize (that being to encourage early
arrival, meeting and greeting), and noting that Mr. Ballew
arrived will after the meeting had started. No action
was taken, and all were forgiven.
The Pot O Gold was most difficult to give away: Members John
Hogge, Jason Hand and John Pifer could have had the coinage
but were absent; Orian Hunter was present and did accept the

Rocky Mountain Regional Convention

Monument Hill Sertoma Club, the 55th Greater Rocky Mountain
Regional Convention will be held at the Sheraton Hotel -
It begins Thursday evening, May 15 and runs through the
Grand Ball Saturday evening on the 17th. All meals
Friday and Saturday are covered, including a Friday evening
visit to the Country Dinner Playhouse just next door.
Plenty of worthwhile activities and workshops. It is
fun to share time with Sertomans from all over the region.
You will enjoy spending time in the hospitality rooms.
The club will cover a substantial part of the costs.
