Guests:   Alice Perkins, Jim’s wife.

FINES:  n/a

Foundation News:  The Foundation still has a cemetery plot or two for sale. They are located at Chapel Hill Cemetery. If interested, contact one of the Foundation members or me ( ) and I will forward your contact to one of them.

Announcements:  Rick Jacobus passed a sign-up sheet around for the up-coming Freedom Week Lunch on Feb. 20th. If you didn't sign up and still want to go, contact Rick. . There will not be a Thursday lunch that week. Registration runs from about 10:30 to 11:15. It is at Pine Hurst CC. The speaker will be Abraham Lincoln (some of you probably knew him personally). Rick thought there will be about 28 schools represented this year. Rick also recommends any member (but mostly the newer members) that have never been to one to attend this year.

Dave Miley has again scheduled the Annual K1 Speed go-kart races for April 13th @ 6pm sign-in. It’s been a lot of fun so get your racing gear ready and try to beat the past winners at their own game.

Last week Gary passed out a survey that he would like all the members to fill out and return to him. He reported he has received several more. It’s for the benefit of the club to find out what we like or don’t like about what’s going on so IF YOU CARE, get them turned.

We will probably have a pool for the super bowl, $5 a square so save up for it.

Birthdays for January: Scott, Joe, Enslow (Dick) & Pat.
