Guests:   Simpson St Fort (prospective new member) Guest of Gary Athe; Rod Combellick, Glenn’s son from Alaska.

FINES:   Cell phone violation…Fine to Glenn for not making his son a member yet; Doug for being Doug as President (filling in for Pat).

Announcements:  The new President was out playing so Doug Harder filled in. He did a pretty good job, maybe he can be President next year.

Pat is hoping someone will attend the Aug. 12th Central and Front Range District Leadership Conference and Awards Luncheon at 8:30am. Let Pat know if you can go.

Scott Manley and Jim Rees put their collective heads together and came up with the idea of having Local Awards since we failed to get them submitted to International. Their idea was to nominate Bill Benton for our Sertoman of the Year and it was unanimously passed by the members. A big Thank You to Bill Benton for all he has and is doing for the club.

Bill Benton is collecting money for the shirts so if you ordered, get him your money so he can get the order in. He has an order sheet he will pass around. You have your choice of a long sleeve button shirt ($32.98) or a short sleeve golf shirt Micro-Mesh ($29.98). You also have a color option but we think it would be nice if everyone had the same color (Bill had blue and Don is going with blue unless everyone else wants a different color).

Tim Pollak passed the envelope around again this week for the tickets his wife is selling for her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. It’s a fundraiser, Pizza at The Garlic Knot, 1620 Canal Circle, Littleton, 80120 on Aug. 17th from 5-8pm. $10 per person, all the Pizza you can eat, plus garlic knots.

New Beginnings Recovery Center Mission

The Mission of NBRC treatment centers is to provide a fully integrated addiction treatment regime, strategically designed to break the cycle of addiction, change behavior, and transform life. Our programs, modified over many years collaborating with leading experts in the field, promote physical, social, emotional, and spiritual stability. That stability comes from treatment in three areas: Addiction, Mental Illness and Attachment. We rely on the science of addiction and use new breakthrough treatments to help our clients heal, recover and stay sober. We are uniquely qualified to save lives.

Our success rate ranks among the highest in Colorado because our clients are able to build solid foundations from customized and personalized treatment. It is our mission and our greatest passion to help as many people as possible while remaining dedicated to a total quality care strategy. We believe that the mind and body should be treated first, to give the recipient the best chance for success in traditional treatment.
Everything we do is dedicated to giving our clients a second chance at life.  NBRC has a 70% success rate. Listen to Erik Hebert.mp3
