Announcements:  Sad news, Sam Anderson passed away last week. An e-mail was sent out to all.

Jack Marshall mentioned a possible group trip to a Fidlers Green conert on Aug 16th. Rascal Flatts will be playing and if we can get at least 35 signed up to go, the price would be about $65 per person with front row seating and parking. Invite your friends or relatives to go.

Some discussion on wether we want to have the upcoming Christmas Party again at the Buell Mansion. The main objection is they don’t have one large room for all that attend. Suggestions are welcome on a different venue.

Thanks to Bob Stein, the Induction Dinner will be held at Red Rock CC on Thursday, May 29th. Drinks at 6pm, dinner at 7pm. The cost per person is $22/per person and a cash bar. A sign up sheet was passed around with meal choices. There will NOT be a lunch that day. Linda Holloway will be at the event. NOTICE: If you sign up and don't show up, you still pay.

Scott thanked all that helped at the A-1 Scuba Rafle and you wont believe who won the Rafle….our very own Pat McKim. Now he just needs to find someone to go with him……any volunteers? Pat bought only one tickett, what luck is that?

The Celebrate Sound Walk happened last weekend and by the looks of the email that I forwarded to all, it was a success.

Remember, if you bring in a new member and he stays 6 months, you get Free Dues - per new member for a quarter.

news_l6.gif SERTOMAN OF THE DAY:

Sertoman of the Day:  Young Pat McKim was born in York, Penn in 1968 (Phil said he had underwear that old). He was the last of 4 kids and in 1970, his parents moved the family to Littleton so he went to Littleton public schools. Rick Jacobus and Sam Anderson got him into the club with some arm twisting. Pat has known Rick a long time. Pat grew up with Rick and Doug’s kids.

Pat graduated in 1991 from CU Denver for his degree as a certified financial planner and has worked at that profession for the past 20 years or so. He recently changed companies and is now located in Cherry Creek North and has a fabulous secretary. The name of his company is Prospera Wealth Management Solutions LLC.

Pat has served every position in the club except secretary and has been a bingo captain for about 10 years. He figures with his young age, he has brought the average age of the club DOWN to 65. Pat welcomed Chad to the club. Chad is now the youngest member.

He is single, has never been married and has no kids (as far as he knows, he says he doesn’t answer the door on Fathers day). His hobbies include everything that takes him where the ladies are, riding dirt bikes and mountains bikes and was in Leadville a couple years ago racing at 10,000 feet plus and passed Lance Armstrong in the race (in opposite directions, Pat finished 4 hours behind Lance). He has no military service. He grew up on the Platt River and his High School, Heritage High, is still standing. His dog El Guapo died last year but he has another one now, named The Cisco Kid…(don’t ask). Listen to Pat Mckim.mp3

In 1974, he graduated from the U.S. Department of Defense Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation School, and in 1975, from the Rutgers University School of Alcohol Studies. Steve became certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 1994, and did extensive training in Hypnotherapy which lead to Certification with the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the National Guild of Hypnotists in 1997.

As a presenter and teacher, Steve receives invitations to give workshops and seminars internationally as well as across the U.S. He has trained well over 500 people in the art and science of Hypnosis to date, and is regarded as one of the top Hypnosis trainers in the country. He is known for his lively presentations that are fun, entertaining, and educational. His workshops and seminars are designed to equip students with tools, skills, and confidence.
