SERTOMAN OF THE DAY:      usnavy.gif

Glenn Combellick was born in Billings, MT on May 8th, 1924. He lived, attended school and fishing there until about the age of 13. While there, he got into playing marbles at 12 and won the City Tournament. He also won the next year and he says those were his “athletic years”. Glenn played marbles in the dirt lot next to his house so much he had dirt imbedded in his hand. He says he was a “good” kid and didn’t get caught doing anything bad.

Glenn graduated from high school in 1941 and was in the Navy from Dec. 3rd, 1942 until Sep 29th, 1945. He stayed in the States the whole time, being trained. Then he came to Denver and graduated at DU in 1948, followed by passing his CPA exam and into private practice in Englewood for 27 years until he retired in 1976 at 52 years old. Married Vernie Aug 29, 1948 and has 4 kids, 8 grandkids and 1 great grandkid.
Glenn has been a member since 1955, which makes 54 years (2nd active behind Dr. Kelsall) and brought into the club by the charter President. Thanks for being part of the club, Glenn.      Listen to GlennCombellick.mp3

Program:   Randy Smith introduced Dana Hall…”The Path I Did Not Choose”. For seven years, Dana Hall walked next to her husband Nate as he fought cancer, a path he did not choose. That path ended last year when Nate died at age 38. In some way (expecially in this economy) each of us is walking a path we did not choose. Dana encourages us to choose how we walk our path and to live in and for today.

Dana approaches life with a dynamic sense of humor and a desire to live to the fullest. Her candid nature will bring audiences face to face with their REAL journey and how to make the most of it.

Dana Hall’s professional experience is in management and operations in a customer service environment. Her core values and success in business stem from a high touch management style with an emphasis in teambuilding while challenging those around her to embrace change through creativity. Born in Toronto, Canada, Dana grew up in Colorado and considers herself a 30-year native. Dana earned a degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, skiing, volunteering, and the outdoors of Colorado.     Dana K. Hall, Professional Speaker and Author

Dana is also the owner of Cybertary's highly skilled professional virtual assistants (VAs) offer administrative office support, creative and/or technical services to businesses, entrepreneurs, executives and other busy people.
