Announcements:   Phil Grimm is home and hurting but doing good.

Gus is at Hallmark, Lower & Quincy. He has a good sense of humor but has trouble with his speech. (We all do Gus, get back here).

Jack Thompson has submitted an application to rejoin the club. This is his first publishing.


The Ladies from the Elk’s club held a Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction for the “I am Asher Fund” and raised about $50,000. Asher Engelbert was born without eyes.

Doug presented Ken Kelley a pin for his donation to the Foundation. He offered quotes to the members and in return, made a $15 donation for each quote. See Kelley letter.jpg

Ann and Liz were here to push the Dry Creek Sertoma “Personalized Santa Letters”. You can have a personalized letter from Santa (not really from Santa but don’t tell anyone) sent to anyone you like. Get a form from them and for $5.00 per letter, make a child or anyone you choose merry. Santa Letter form.pdf

Dave Miley read the poem “Daddy’s Poem” to the club for Veterans Day. You can get a copy here: Poem.pdf

John Vierthaler mentioned Bill Malones wake with many club members in attendance. Bill was a member for about 40 years and a “damn good lawyer”.

Christmas Party for the adults will be Friday, Dec. 10th from 5-9pm. Homewood Suites 7630 Shaffer Parkway, Littleton. $33 per person gets you Leslie’s gourmet of all Gourmets evening!. Tommy Tooth says there is room for 6 more couples and he needs MONEY.

Kids Christmas Party will be Dec 23rd, a Thursday, at regular lunch time. No SOD that day. Details to follow but we need a true count so if your going to bring the wee ones, please send Don an Email and let him know.

Will Martinez has King Soopers coupons. The club receives 5% but only 4 people regularly use the service. The card is like a debit card so it’s easy to use.

Nov. 20th The Park Hill club is having a casino trip to Black Hawk. Leave from Park Hill Golf
Course @ 1:00PM, 4141 E. 35th Ave. Contact them for info.
Dec 4th there will be a $10 tour of the Littleton Historical Museum with the Social Dinner starting
at 4pm with dinner at Romamo’s Restaurant.
Feb 4: Duel District Wine Tasting at the Hyatt Regency DTC. Cost $75.00
Feb 15: Freedom Week. NO CLUB LUNCH on Feb 17th.
