Bingo:  79 players and a deposit of $4500. No bingo Nov26th, it’s Thanksgiving and the hall is closed Dec 24th, it’s Christmas Eve. There was no interest in hosting on New years Eve so no bingo that night.

Because of no game on Thanksgiving, the B-team will host on Dec. 3rd and the rotation will go from there.

Announcements:    Walt Wilson from the Littleton club presented Dick Enslow with the 3rd place trophy for the Trap Shoot that Dick participated in a couple weeks ago.

Pres: Lets get on the membership drive.

Ken Kelley secured a grant from his company, Allstate Ins., for $500 and presented the check to Will Martinez. Way to go Ken.

The Joint Wine Tasting Fund Raiser will benefit U.C. Boulder – Dept. of Speech and the Marion Downs Hearing Center. Date is Oct 24th 6-9pm. Contact 303 773-8189 or sertomawine@gmail.com We have 50 tickets to sell and they need auction items. Need to collect for tickets

Tim: A thank you card was giving to the club from Ruth for the donation the club made to Second Wind and her (and Tim’s) efforts. She is still in 2nd place.

Pres: Think about whom is a good candidate for the Service To Mankind Award by Dec. 1st.

Program:   Rick Jacobus introduced Eagle Spirit Academy Taekwondo’s Bob & Brian Gallagher, 2008 Olympic alternates.

(from their web page) Eagle Spirit Academy's first school was originally established in 1994 in Cody, Wyoming; and our second school is located in Littleton, Colorado.

ESA stands for Eagle Spirit Academy and Every Student Aspires. Eagle Spirit Academy develops students of all ages who aspire to grow, learn and become a meaningful part of their community.?

We have sponsored and qualified Junior and Senior competition teams every year since 1994. Eagle Spirit Academy has produced over 200 Junior and Senior National Champions of all ranks and ages.

Eagle Spirit hosts the annual Attitude for Gold Tournament which honors our men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces.

ESA established a Kids Program for young children to experience martial arts in a friendly but disciplined atmosphere. This program also teaches them stranger danger, fire safety, 911 emergency and many other life saving skills.

Our Academy continues to provide self-defense seminars to local Colorado schools and businesses.?

Eagle Spirit has established two non-profit organizations that support elite and Olympic athletes who are train with ESA. These non-profit groups make contributions to organizations such as Cancer Research Center, Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Clubs, Disabled American Veterans, and the Humane Society. They also sponsor numerous fund raising efforts that benefit the advancement of the our students as well as give back to the local community.

We established a Leadership and Mentoring Program in the public schools of Cody, Wyoming; which is supported by referrals from the Department of Family Services and the Park County Mental Health Services.

The Academy received numerous business awards including Business of the Year for developing outreach programs as well as awards for supporting educational efforts, safety and physical education within the community.      http://www.esatkd.com/index.htm
